PATIENT REVIEW:

Excited to share before/after photos of a sliding genioplasty! This patient had microgenia, referring to a small chin. Common options for this surgery are:

1. Chin Implant
2. Sliding Genioplasty.

This patient underwent a sliding genioplasty, where the chin bone was actually advanced. It is a natural solution with the best long term results. Benefits of implants on the other hand include less down time, and reduced operative time. I am very happy to be able to provide both options to my patients.

Update (Bottom Photo):

Happy to post a 5-month post-op of one of my most wonderful patients! He underwent male rhinoplasty and sliding genioplasty for chin augmentation. These two procedures complement each other nicely to balance out the nose. Still, a mild amount of swelling should come down over the next 6 months.
